Starting questions:
Are these the same as threshold learning outcomes (TLOs)?
Are RACI accreditation standards the same as the TLOs? or higher? How is the RACI stating these?
Apparently the RSC has done this in the UK - does anyone have a link to that?

Standards as statements of attainment
Dear All,
My 10p worth – correction 10c worth:
One question that arises, is whether the threshold learning outcomes are sufficient for RACI accreditation or whether the RACI requires a higher standard than the minimum threshold.
The other group will start work on shared exam questions
I can sort of answer this in a convoluted way. The RACI accreditation is based on the UK RSC accreditation process that I know very well.
That contains appendix A and B of examples of TLO exam questions sourced from a number of UK universities of which mine was a major contributor. Key point here: In the UK TLO stands for “Typical” not “Threshold” we never went for the minimum level of attainment so the only threshold is year 1 and this does not count towards the award of a degree bar simple progression into year 2 (typical level of competence for holders of a bachelor's degree with honours in chemistry attached). So I suspect RACI will want higher than threshold from year 1 onwards, if they are going with comparable accreditation.
Appendix B is depth questions from year 2 onwards, and no to MCQ’s, I agree with Roy on that one given as you can’t test the learning objectives you are hoping the students will demonstrate!
Chemistry benchmark statements and benchmark exam questions attached.

Happy to be on either working group strand.
